Stephanie Manns is poised to launch to the musical forefront Scotland's growing singer/songwriter movement with her new record, 'Come Closer'. As the follow-up to her raw and sweet debut EP 'Sweethearts & Angels' (2012) the new record captures her musical growth and songwriting maturity. The 10-song collection is an open diary of friendship and lost love, with the final track on the album, Daisychains, recorded with just a ukulele, guitar and vocal providing a beautiful contrast to the fully produced studio sound of the rest of the album. To capture the intimacy of 'Come Closer', Stephanie Manns took to the studio with renowned producers Graeme Duffin (of Wet Wet Wet) and Sandy Jones while bringing a collective of remarkable musicians into the fold, including Conor Smith on guitar, Ewan Laing on drums and percussion and Joe Rattray on electric and double bass.
